Feb 14, 2014 · The issue is, basically, if I hand cycle the slide and ease it forward, the slide will get stuck about 1/8" out of battery. I then can push the slide forward the rest of the way. But it has a hammer, which in my opinion is a good thing. But the Security 9 is a very functional pistol. Accuracy is not quite as good as the American Pistol, but it is adequate. I like the trigger. I hate the sights, probably spend the $77 and get a proper set of steel sights from Ruger. I also hate the safety.
