Stellaris fleet builds.

It still can be chewed up if it faces something that counters it like artillery battleships. Usually that can be avoided though by mixing a carrier-artillery fleet. I've never used a carrier only fleet but it seems it'd bring out the weaknesses of carriers a lot, but not bring out their strengths that much.

Ygolnac Dec 27, 2017 @ 6:55am. A lot of point defence, flak and ALL armor (just unequip shields) Fighters might be usefull against their bombers, but flak and PD should be enough. The habitats at that time worked differently compared even to their 3.7 vanilla counterpart. Or j...For corvettes, do it at a 1:1 ratio. For example, if the enemy has 2 laser 1 kinetic 2 shield 1 armor, you should build corvettes with 1 laser 2 kinetic 2 shield 1 armor. If the enemy uses missiles, just smack PD on your ships to counter. Otherwise treat the missile slot as 2 kinetics, since it bypasses shields, and use 2 armor slots. The AI likes using short-ranged weapons on defense platforms so long-ranged missiles often kill the platforms from outside of their weapon range. Once you get to Cruisers, Missile Carriers really do well against the AI. Missiles, Hangars, long range. Once you get to Battleships, throw on an Arc Emitter. 4.

Patch 3.10. Patch 3.10, aka "Pyxis", was released on 2023-11-16 [1] with the checksum 462c. The patch was released alongside the Astral Planes narrative expansion.Originally posted by theslay66: Federation ships have specific templates. You will find them in your shipyard list. You can't manage federation fleets with the fleet manager. You just build them directly from your shipyards and group them manually. Also, if you add a new ship to one of your fleets, it will also be added in your fleet template. This bug has been present for an already unacceptable amount of time, but it seemed to only happen under certain conditions and wasn't too frequent, and now it's happening every time I reinforce/upgrade my fleet. I cant speak for everyone but this bug has been happening for me ever since federations. pretty much EVERY time I reinforce my fleet. Its enough for my playstyle so I don't feel the need to build too many unity producing worlds. For buildings in general you want to build whatever your specialisation needs (mineral purification hub for mining, agri-conplex on agri-worlds, alloy and consumer good factories on industry worlds, etc) and a holo-theatre to keep your pops happy. If they destroy the starbase before the defence platforms, the battle will end, and the enemy will take control of all the surviving defence platforms. This is unusual unless you explicitly build your fleet to do this, but I would be careful not to rely too much on defence platforms in the late game, in case the AI does it by accident.

Set difficulty to low (cadet, I think), adjust settings to exclude things that do nothing useful, but increase late game lag: set minimum wormholes, minimum hyperlanes, xeno-compatibility off. Nov 22, 2019 ... Armies are perhaps the most underrated aspect of Stellaris. A run relying purely on them for defense is bound to be interesting. The absolute most cheesiest strategy that I can possibly offer with my 1500 plus hours is, for this update, as follows: 1-Criminal Heritage pick: this goes even better for larger maps with more empires to take. For each empire is a homeworld growing super juicy. 2- If you are really, actually doing the hardest possible, as with mid-game scale ... Now to the fleet composition: Early on: Corvettes and destroyers in a relation of about 2:1. Mid-game: Add cruisers to the fleet, lots of them. Thanks! Archived post. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. The best build would be anchorages and a fleet. Second best is hangars. Keep in mind that starbases fight way below their listed fleet power. Upgrading [edit | edit source] If a ship design is edited, a fleet containing ships of that design can be ordered to return to a shipyard to upgrade. My second fleet is often either entirely corvettes for a rapid response skirmisher fleet, to run around scooping up low priority targets while the main fleet deals with the enemies, and then a fleet of pure battleships for extra punch in the main battles. Occasionally they'll happen in the other order depending on circumstances.Regarding ethics and civics: if this is vanilla, then this is radical xenophilia and the second one to choose from, I prefer militarism because I quickly enter the mercenary fleet and take the second model that gives an enclave at the start of the game, which will vassal the AI for the sake of basic resources: food and minirals, the second ...
