My previous 2015 Odyssey never had a problem. It never saw the dealership during the entire 3 year lease except pick up and turn in. Not a good start.

Oh, make sure the two lock tabs are in the up position too. Probably need to pull the door panel and see what's up. It could also be the lock tumbler siezed up in the hole, as well.
